What can you expect from Bosch Duin Strand
On arrival there are a number of cans ready for you in the fridge, as well as tea and coffee pads for the Senseo machine present.
Every morning there is a breakfast basket with fresh rolls and toppings and various drinks ready for your room door . So you can enjoy breakfast in your room in peace.
You can use your room from 15:00 on the day of arrival. If you will arrive later than 18:00, we kindly request you to report this. You must vacate the room before 10:00 am after the last booked night.
There is the possibility to use our wireless internet network, if you have a laptop with wifi card.
Payment is due 14 days before arrival. If you book within 14 days, it is also possible to make the payment in cash.

Where can I stay in Den Helder close to the sea and the dunes?
Bosch Duin Strand sits on the dunes of Den Helder, next to the De Donkere Duinen forest and the Mariëndal nature reserve. Only the dunes separate the hotel from the beach and the sea.
How many rooms does the hotel have?
The hotel has 12 luxury studios: one-room apartments for two people, on the ground floor or the first floor.
What kind of hotel is Bosch Duin Strand?
A small hotel in Den Helder with 12 studios, on the edge of forest and dunes. Every studio has its own kitchen, a luxury bathroom and a box spring bed, and a breakfast basket is waiting at your door every morning.
Do the rooms have their own terrace?
The studios on the ground floor have their own small terrace. The rooms on the first floor have air conditioning.
Can I book directly with the hotel?
Yes. You book directly with the hotel through our website or by phone, without a middleman.
What time can I check in?
Your room is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

How does checking in with the Bluetooth key work?
You check in through our app and open the door of your studio yourself. You need a smartphone for this: install the app and check in there before 18:00 on the day of arrival.
What if I arrive after 18:00?
Please let us know in advance if you arrive after 18:00. We will then agree with you whether we wait for you or leave a Bluetooth key ready.
What time do I have to check out?
We ask you to leave the room before 10:00 after the last booked night.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. Every morning a basket with fresh rolls, toppings and drinks is waiting at your room door, so you can have breakfast in your own room.
What time can I have breakfast?
From Monday to Friday breakfast is ready from 05:00 to 09:30, and at the weekend from 08:00 to 09:30. If you are staying on business and would like to eat earlier, that can be arranged.
Do the rooms have their own kitchen?
Yes. All studios are fully furnished and have their own kitchen as well as their own bathroom.
Are dogs welcome and what does it cost?
Yes, dogs are welcome, whatever their size. You pay € 15.00 per dog per stay, so not per night.
Is there wifi at the hotel?
Yes, you can use our wireless internet free of charge.
Does the hotel have a restaurant?
The hotel has no restaurant of its own. Steakhouse Duinoord is a 1 minute walk away and is open Wednesday to Sunday, except on public holidays.
Can I rent a bike at the hotel?
We do not rent out bikes ourselves. You can rent one from Ralf Bikestore in Den Helder or from Bikestore in Julianadorp.
Can I park at the hotel?
Yes. Right by the hotel you can park free of charge in the public car park of restaurant Duinoord. The hotel has no car park of its own.
How far is it to the beach and the sea?
The hotel sits right on the edge of forest and dunes. The beach and the sea are a 10 minute walk away: 750 metres through the dunes.
How far is the hotel from Den Helder station?
Den Helder station is 4.5 kilometres away, a 10 minute drive. The centre of Den Helder is the same distance.
When and how do I have to pay?
Payment is due no later than 14 days before arrival, by iDEAL, Wero or credit card. If you book within 14 days of arrival, you can also pay cash.
Can I stay on business and be invoiced?
